CHULA VISTA, CALIFORNIA (August 30, 2011) Montessori American School, is proud to announce the debut of a free eBook, 12 Tips for Choosing a Montessori School. This eBook clarifies for parents what a Montessori school is — describing the origin of Montessori schools and the kinds of benefits children receive from attending a Montessori school. It explains the philosophy behind Montessori schools including how children repeat activities until they’ve been mastered and how the calm and orderly classroom atmosphere fosters children’s attention and concentration.
12 Tips for Choosing a Montessori School also provides important criteria for parents to ensure they are choosing the right Montessori school for their children. This includes factors such as whether the school focuses both on academic achievement and encouraging self-confidence, enthusiasm for learning and feelings of being closely bonded. In addition, the book outlines the benefits of the Kindergarten program in a Montessori school, and how it creates a solid foundation for a child’s future education.
“We’re very excited to get this information out to the public. It’s so important that people know the truth about Montessori schools and how to choose a good one for their kids,” says Edith Gruener, Founder and Principal of Montessori American School. “Montessori schools are an excellent alternative to public schools for the fact that the children can receive better instruction and closer attention. Please download our eBook. We also welcome any questions you have.”The eBook, 12 Tips for Choosing a Montessori School can be downloaded for free, by clicking here .
